The default appears to be that SolidWorks cuts off the part on the positive side of the section Try activating, and showing section B-B in the assembly model. In this example, there is not sufficient space for a revolved section, though a removed section could have been used instead of an auxiliary section. Also, you have the ability to change how the section is created by adding a jog, bend or an offset to the section. ![]() If your 3D models have both solid and surface bodies, it will take a few more steps to show the surface bodies Search 'Create Section View in Model Example (C#)' in the SOLIDWORKS Knowledge Base. ![]()
